Effective chromogenic substrate for use in blotting, it provides crisp bands of intense purple precipitate with minimal background staining. Designed for use with alkaline phosphatase-labeled conjugates. Recommended for blotting and ELISpot assays. One-component format of BCIP/NBT (5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indoyl-phosphate/nitroblue tetrazolium), no reagent preparation, hence, more convenient.
