ACCURUN® Nucleic Acid Controls

We understand the challenges and requirements of nucleic acid testing and have developed a comprehensive line of ACCURUN independent run controls to satisfy your infectious disease testing laboratory's needs.

ACCURUN Controls are formulated from whole virus or organisms, allowing you to challenge the entire testing process, including the critical steps of lysis and extraction. ACCURUN Controls are targeted to perform with commercially available nucleic acid based test methods. Analyte Specific Reagents (ASR) and in-house developed assays.

Our qualification, Linearity and Genotyping panels are designed for use in laboratories implementing or validating analyte specific reagents (ASR), in-house developed reagents or commercially available kit assays.

Genotype Panels

We offer a complete set of genotype panels to assess assay accuracy and consistency over a wide range of genotypes. They are essential tools for assay design development, validation and evaluation.

  • ACCUTYPE VP HIV Whole virus particles include 48 isolates of Genotype A-H and O target -1 x 108 copies/ml. Concentrated viral cGMP viral supernatant isolates of globally relevant subtypes feature EM particles/ml and sequence verification.* Also available as purified RNA: ACCUTYPE RNA.

*HIV Isolates provided through license agreement US NIH, US DOD and European Network for virological evaluation of new anti-HIV therapies as part of MTA with Seracare | BBI.

Qualification Panels contain one negative member and five positive members. Our qualification panels are reliable, convenient tools for use in all aspects of infectious disease testing, from assay validation and reagent qualification to training and troubleshooting.

Linearity Panels

A dilutional set of specimens designed to help determine the absolute end-point sensitivity of test kits. Each panel is calibrated to international standards (WHO) when available. Linearity Panels are used to assess quantitive amplification tests over a broad dynamic range. For example: analyte specific reagents (ASR), in-house developed reagents or commercially available kit assays.
